Field Care Supervisor

Location: Bridport (in-person)

Salary: £14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

Important: This role includes a combination of office-based hours and time spent providing care in Bridport, Beaminster, Lyme Regis and the surrounding villages.

We are seeking a talented, dedicated and driven Field Care Supervisor to join our dynamic, expanding team based in Bridport and covering the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and delivering care services to our clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of care.

This is a varied role that includes both office-based duties and time spent in the field, providing care and support to clients in Bridport, Beaminster, Lyme Regis, and the surrounding villages. The role also includes supporting a small team of care workers and clients, rostering care visits, participating in shared on-call duties with other Field Care Supervisors, completing assessments, reviews and spot checks, and writing care plans using PASS and Care Planner.

  • Conduct regular field visits to clients’ homes to monitor the quality of care provided
  • Supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of clients
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Perform risk assessments and reviews of care packages
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
  • Handle any complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided
  • Previous experience as a care coordinator or supervisor
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care is preferable
  • Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Experience with electronic care planning systems is an advantage
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care

Experience:

  • Supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
  • Providing care: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving License (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
