Maryanne’s proactive care makes all the difference!

Maryanne Wamaitha & Jackie Hume

Maryanne Wamaitha, one of our live-in care workers, has received some truly moving and heartwarming feedback for the care and support of Jackie Hume one of our long-standing clients. The nomination and award of our Carer of the Month came from our client’s daughter Victoria, and we couldn’t agree more with her praise.

Living far away from her mum, in Scotland and relying heavily on Angel Carers, Victoria expressed how much comfort and peace of mind Maryanne’s support, of her mum Jackie, has brought her.

Here’s just a small part of what she wrote:

Victoria Hume, Daughter

Thanks to Maryanne’s dedication, compassion and proactive care, Victoria described how Maryanne’s thoughtful care has helped her mum to rediscover parts of her independence, joy and quality of life that had seemed out of reach just a year ago. Maryanne took the initiative to get her client back outside again, enjoying daily walks in her wheelchair and soaking up the sights of the village.

Maryanne’s care goes beyond the essentials. Her thoughtful, home-cooked meals and genuine attentiveness have made a meaningful difference in both her client’s wellbeing and Victoria’s peace of mind.

From all of us at Angel Carers, a huge thank you to Maryanne for your exceptional work and heartfelt commitment. The positive impact Maryanne has had on both client and family is impossible to overstate. Her initiative, dedication, and kindness embody everything we value at Angel Carers.

Thank you, Maryanne – your compassion and care are an inspiration to us all. You really do make a difference and we’re so proud to have you on the team!
